Electrical installation works in association with the complete
refurbishment of levels 4-7, and various site wide remedial works
of the recently acquired building. The works comprised the installation of
new LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarm, access, and data systems.
Built in 1897 the Lyceum Theatre is today a Grade 11 listed building operated by Sheffield Theatres. After a long and chequered career the theatre reopened in 1990 and now presents a variety of theatre, including touring West End productions, opera and contemporary dance, as well as locally produced shows.

As an integral part of a £1.93 million refurbishment in 2014, AMS was responsible for the total electrical services installation which encompassed upgrading of mains distribution, lighting and power, stage lighting control, fire alarm upgrade photovoltaic system, upgraded security and CCTV etc.
The Crucible Theatre was built in 1971 in the city centre of Sheffield. As well as a venue for renowned theatrical performances, it hosts the most prestigious event in professional snooker today, the World Championship.
Over the years AMS has had the pleasure of serving Sheffield Theatres at the Crucible carrying our various installations along with testing, maintenance and responsive repair services.
Located four miles south of Lincoln, RAF Waddington is a busy operational airfield which is host to the RAF's largest annual air show and home to a fascinating Heritage Centre. Royal Air Force Waddington has a distinguished history, of which it is justly proud. Almost continuously active since first opening as a Royal Flying Corps training base in 1916, the base held significant operational roles during World War II, the Cold War V-Bomber era and during the Falklands Campaign.
AMS Electrical are proud to have been associated with RAF Waddington for a number of years and as ongoing services to the base, the latest completed project involved the maintenance and repairs to high bay hanger lighting for Northrop Grumman Worldwide Enterprise Corporation.
The Sir Robert Hadfield Building is named in recognition of the famous metallurgist, noted for his 1882 discovery of manganese steel, one of the first steel alloys. Today the building is home to the University of Sheffield Departments of Materials Science and Engineering and Chemical & Biological Engineering.

The Hicks Building is part of the University of Sheffield main campus and is named in honour of William Mitchinson Hicks. The building houses the departments of Physics and Astronomy, the Chemistry and Physics Workshop (formally known as the Central Mechanical Workshops) and the School of Mathematics and Statistics, which comprises the departments of Probability and Statistics, Applied Mathematics and Pure Mathematics.

The project consisted of the refurbishment and upgrading of in excess of 300 rooms, including Teaching Spaces, Corridors, WC's, Workshops, Laboratories and ancillary areas. The majority of these works were carried out during the normal working of the University involving close liaison with the staff, students and management of the University, stringent health and safety measures along with tight defined deadlines.
